Toronto Real Ops 2017
The Virtual Toronto FIR is pleased to be hosting “Toronto Real Ops 2017 24 hours live” event. We will be simulating one complete day at Canada’s largest and busiest airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport. You will be given the ultimate choice of 1142 real world flights to book from. That’s 561 Departures and 581 Arrivals by over 65 airlines and cargo carriers to take you to or from almost any Domestic or International airport around the world!
How does the event work? Pilots are to book any flight listed on the Booking page that they are interested in flying during the event, which will then enroll them into the prize pools. Pilots may book as many flights as they wish, as long as the flight times do not conflict.

Oktoberfest FlyIn Munich
"O'zapft is'!"
Once again we want to welcome Munich's famous quote this year on Vatsim. Enabling the nearly 6 million annual visitor's trip to the "Wiesn" the RG Munich offers a virtually fully staffed airport at the last weekend of the "Oktoberfest".
We welcome any charter or scheduled flight at our airport, also flying by private plane is of course possible.

Dubai - Runway Flips
VATSIM Emirates vACC invites all pilot to “Dubai – Runway Flips”
On Saturday, 30th September, Dubai International Airport will be fully staffed from ground to top by our excellent ATC controllers starting from 14:00z until 18:00z.
At random times during every hour, runway direction will change. Dubai (OMDB) has 2 runways: 30L/12R and 30R/12L. This brings a challenge for pilots departing and arriving.
Pilots may have slightly higher tailwind component on final approach and landing. Runway change will be in action regardless of the wind direction!
