Toronto Real Ops 2017
The Virtual Toronto FIR is pleased to be hosting “Toronto Real Ops 2017 24 hours live” event. We will be simulating one complete day at Canada’s largest and busiest airport, Toronto Pearson International Airport. You will be given the ultimate choice of 1142 real world flights to book from. That’s 561 Departures and 581 Arrivals by over 65 airlines and cargo carriers to take you to or from almost any Domestic or International airport around the world!
How does the event work? Pilots are to book any flight listed on the Booking page that they are interested in flying during the event, which will then enroll them into the prize pools. Pilots may book as many flights as they wish, as long as the flight times do not conflict.

Online Events Bookings:
Pilots flying in this event do not have aircraft type rating restrictions when flying on the VATSIM Network. However the aircraft type must be within current VAC fleet. We do require each member participating to include the following in the Remarks section of your Flight Plan when connected to VATSIM.

Important Information:
- All online flights are recorded with VACARS after online event assignment has been approved.
- All group flight events are flown on the VATSIM Network.
- Ensure you have all charts available for your flight.
- Members must comply with all applicable VATSIM policies and procedures.
- Please meet at the departure airport 15 minutes before start of event at 20h00 EDT (24h00z).
- Pushback from gate is at own discretion unless otherwise advised by online ATC.
- Takeoff between aircraft is: 2 minutes after narrowbody aircraft and 3 minutes after widebody aircraft for separation.
